We are writing to share some exciting news! Shaler Area Little League is going to offer a new division this year for girls in our league – 6u Slow Pitch Softball. This past season, we had some of our 6 year old girls from the Rookie league play some additional games in softball and it was a success. Knowing that our younger divisions are the lifeblood of our organization in baseball and softball, we are wanted to offer another choice for our girls.
The birthday cut-off age for softball divisions is December 31st so the birthdate range for 6u Slow Pitch will be 1/1/14 through 12/31/15. If you have any questions related to your girls possibly playing softball, please reach out to Dave Hymowitz at davehymowitz@gmail.com.
Also, please know that you have a choice for your daughter. You can still choose to register her to play baseball (Tball or Rookie) if you want.
