• Goal of the program is to introduce kids to the fundamentals of baseball and leave the kids with a positive and memorable experience where they have a lot of fun.
• Coaches will teach the fundamentals of hitting from a tee, throwing, base running and fielding.

• Practices / Games are generally held once during the week with additional game on Saturdays.
• Practices / Games take place at Scott Avenue fields or Burchfield Girls Field.

Rookie

• Age 6
• Birthdates between 5/1/14 – 4/30/15

• Introduce kids to more structure and increase their work with the fundamentals of baseball. 
• Later in the season, coaches will begin to teach more about game play (3 outs an inning, where to make a play with runners on base).
• Coaches will also pitch to batters in order to help prepare them for the next program level.

• Practices / Games are generally held once during the week with additional game on Saturdays.
• Practices / Games take place at Scott Avenue fields or Burchfield Girls Field.

Instructional

• Age 7-8
• Birthdates between 5/1/12 – 4/30/14

• Continue to teach fundamentals and develop your child’s baseball skills.
• Kids will be hitting “coach pitch” during practice and games.
• The controlled games will be more competitive and offer a balance between learning the game and having fun.

• Practices / Games are generally held twice during the 7 day week.
• Practices / Games take place at Burchfield Boys Field or Richter Fields.

Farm

• Age 9-10
• Birthdates between 5/1/10 – 4/30/12

• Transition from a coach controlled game to one that resembles an actual competitive game.
• Maintain the overall goal of learning, developing and having fun.
• Players transition to kid pitch at this level.
• This is also the first level where the kids experience umpires calling balls and strikes.

• Practices / Games are generally held 2 – 3 times during the 7 day week.
• Practices / Games take place at Farrell Field, Richter Park, and Crawshaw Field at Kiwanis Park.

Little League

• Age 11-12
• Birthdates between 5/1/08 – 4/30/10

• Play using Bronco baseball rules.

• Practices / Games are generally held 2 – 3 times during the 7 day week.
• Practices / Games take place on Crawshaw Field at Kiwanis Park.

Pony

• Age 13-14
• Birthdates between 5/1/06 – 4/30/08

• Play using Major League Baseball rules.

• Practices / Games are generally held 2 – 3 times during the 7 day week.
• Practices / Games take place at Stoneridge Field and the Scott Ave Pony Field (behind Elementary School).

Colt

• Age 14-15
• Birthdates between 5/1/04 – 4/30/06

• Play using Major League Baseball rules.

• Practices / Games are generally held 2 – 3 times during the 7 day week.
• Practices / Games take place at Stoneridge Field.
